Privacy Policy

GetBeauty, Inc. and its subsidiaries and affiliates ("GetBeauty," "we," "us," or "our") is an advertising and information platform that enables independent, licensed Providers — whether located near you or in another city, state, or country — to create and promote a profile, and enables you to browse those profiles, read and write reviews, and contact Providers directly (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share personal information through our website at getbeauty.ai, our mobile application, related marketing activities, and any other services that link to this Privacy Policy.

GetBeauty is an advertising and information platform. We do not organize, coordinate, bundle, sell, or facilitate travel, accommodations, or any other aspect of a patient's journey, and we do not act as a medical tourism facilitator, agency, or intermediary. Any treatment or related arrangement is a transaction directly between you and the Provider you choose.

If you choose to contact a Provider located in a country other than your own, using the Service will involve sharing your personal information — including any health-related information you choose to provide — with that Provider. Please read Sections 1, 5, and 9 carefully before submitting any information you consider sensitive.

See Section 13 (State Privacy Rights Notice) for important information about your rights under applicable U.S. state privacy laws, and Section 14 (Notice to European Users) if you are located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom.

1. Personal Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide to Us

We collect personal information you provide directly through the Service, including:

• Contact data, such as your name, email address, mailing address, and phone number.
• Account and profile data, such as your username, password, date of birth, profile photo, and preferences.
• Communications data, based on our exchanges with you, including when you contact customer support or communicate with Providers through the Service.
• Reviews and user content, such as reviews, ratings, comments, photographs, videos, and questions you post about treatments or Providers, along with associated metadata (e.g., when and how content was created).
• Medical and treatment data, which you may choose to provide when requesting a quote, consultation, or treatment plan from a Provider — for example, the procedure you're interested in, relevant medical history, current medications or allergies, photographs or images of the treatment area, and, if you choose to upload them, lab results, imaging, or other medical records. We do not require you to share medical information to browse the Service, but Providers generally need some of this information to assess your case and provide an accurate quote or treatment plan. This information is sent directly to the Provider(s) you choose to contact, as described in Section 5.
• Product, routine, and care-plan data (Bella), such as photos or barcodes of skincare, supplement, or medication products you scan, your resulting routine, and information about an upcoming or past procedure (for example, its date), which you provide to receive AI-generated suggestions from our AI guide, “Bella,” or to use the day-by-day care plan feature. This data is used to generate your suggestions and reminders, and is shared with a Provider only if you choose to share your care plan with them.
• Payment data, such as billing information needed to process any GetBeauty service fees, which is handled by our payment processor; we do not store full payment card numbers. (We do not process payment for the cost of treatment itself, which you pay directly to the Provider.)
• Marketing data, such as your preferences for receiving marketing communications.

Medical and treatment data, and certain product/routine data you give to Bella (such as supplements or medications), may be considered “sensitive personal information,” “special category data,” or similar under applicable law. We only collect this information where you choose to provide it, and we share medical and treatment data only as necessary to obtain a quote or treatment plan, as described in Section 5. Please do not include this information in public reviews — only in a direct, secure message to a Provider or in the Bella/care-plan features.

1.2 Information from Other Sources

We may combine the information above with information we obtain from other sources, such as:

• Providers, if you contact a Provider through the Service and they share information about the resulting interaction with us.
• Social media and single sign-on services, if you choose to log in or link your account to a third-party platform.
• Service providers that help us operate the Service (e.g., analytics or fraud-prevention vendors).
• Publicly available sources, such as professional licensing boards, used to help verify Provider information.

1.3 Information We Collect Automatically

When you use the Service, we, our service providers, and our business partners may automatically collect:

• Device data, such as IP address, browser and device type, operating system, and unique device identifiers.
• Online activity data, such as pages viewed, links clicked, time spent on pages, and the site you came from.
• Approximate location data, such as city or region inferred from your IP address, or precise location if you grant permission through your device settings (e.g., to find Providers near you).
• Communication interaction data, such as whether you open or click links in our emails.

2. Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies

We and our service providers and advertising partners use cookies, SDKs, pixels, and similar technologies (“Tracking Technologies”) to recognize your browser or device, remember your preferences, understand how you use the Service, and support advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and where legally required, we will request your consent through a cookie banner or preference center before using non-essential Tracking Technologies. Disabling certain Tracking Technologies may limit features of the Service.

3. How We Use Personal Information

3.1 Service Delivery and Operations

We use personal information to:

• provide, maintain, and secure the Service;
• create and manage your account and profile;
• display reviews and other user content you choose to post;
• transmit inquiries you submit to Providers and facilitate related communications;
• process payment for any GetBeauty advertising or service fees (not for the cost of treatment, which you pay directly to the Provider);
• communicate with you about the Service, including service announcements and support requests.

3.2 AI Features (Bella)

We use the product, routine, and procedure-related information you provide to Bella to generate personalized skincare and supplement suggestions, flag potential product or timing conflicts with an upcoming procedure, and power the day-by-day care plan and its reminders. These suggestions are generated automatically and are not reviewed by a medical professional before being shown to you; see our Terms of Use for important information about the limits of AI Features.

3.3 Personalization and Improvement

We use personal information to personalize your experience (e.g., recommending relevant Providers or content), understand how the Service is used, develop new features, and conduct analytics (including with tools such as Google Analytics).

3.4 Marketing and Advertising

We may send you marketing communications about GetBeauty, and use cookies and similar technologies, directly or through advertising partners, to show you relevant ads based on your activity on the Service and elsewhere (interest-based advertising). You can opt out as described in Section 6.

3.5 Compliance and Protection

We use personal information to comply with applicable law, respond to legal process, enforce our Terms of Use, investigate potential violations (including fraudulent or incentivized reviews), and protect the rights, property, and safety of GetBeauty, our users, Providers, and the public.

3.6 Aggregated and De-Identified Data

We may create aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized data from personal information, which we may use and share for any business purpose, including to analyze treatment and Provider trends.

4. Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service and fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to satisfy legal, accounting, or reporting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. The retention period depends on factors such as the type and sensitivity of the information, why we collected it, and applicable legal requirements. Reviews and other public user content may remain visible on the Service even after you close your account, as described in our Terms of Use.

5. How We Share Personal Information

We may share personal information with:

• Providers you contact (doctors, clinics, hospitals, and other medical or aesthetic professionals), including your inquiry, relevant medical and treatment data, photographs, and contact information needed for them to evaluate your case, prepare a quote or treatment plan, and provide care. Providers are independent businesses, not GetBeauty employees or agents. A Provider located in your own country or state will typically be subject to the privacy and medical-records laws that apply there; a Provider located in a different country will handle your information under their own records policies and the laws applicable to them, which may differ from the laws of your home country (see Section 9).
• Service providers, who perform services on our behalf, such as hosting, payment processing, customer support, analytics, and marketing.
• Affiliates, for purposes consistent with this Privacy Policy.
• Advertising partners, for interest-based advertising, as described in Section 3.4, subject to your choices in Section 6.
• Professional advisors, such as lawyers, auditors, and insurers, where necessary.
• Government authorities or other third parties, to comply with legal obligations (including customs, immigration, or public health requirements relevant to international travel), protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
• Other parties, with your consent or at your direction (for example, if you choose to make your review public, it is visible to anyone who uses the Service).

Your consent to share medical information. Before we send your medical or treatment data to a Provider, we will ask you to confirm which Provider(s) you want to contact and that you consent to that specific information being shared with them. You control which Providers receive your information — we do not broadcast your medical information to Providers you have not chosen to contact.

GetBeauty does not sell Providers' or users' personal information for money. Certain sharing for advertising purposes may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under some state privacy laws; see Section 13 for your choices.

6. Your Choices

• Access or update your information. If you have an account, you can review and update certain information by logging in and visiting your account settings.
• Opt out of marketing. You can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in those emails or by contacting us. You will continue to receive service-related messages.
• Cookie preferences. You can manage cookie preferences through our cookie banner or preference center, and through your browser or device settings.
• Location data. You can disable location permissions in your device settings at any time.
• Do Not Track. Our Service does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.
• Linked accounts. If you connected the Service to a third-party account, you can manage what information is shared through that platform's own settings.
• Declining to provide information. If you don't provide information we need to deliver a feature (e.g., contacting a Provider), we may not be able to provide that feature.

7. Other Sites and Services

The Service may link to websites, applications, or services operated by Providers or other third parties. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party properties, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party site or Provider before sharing information with them.

8. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.

9. International Data Transfer

We are headquartered in the United States and may use service providers located in other countries. Your personal information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other locations where privacy laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

Transfers to Providers abroad. If you choose to contact a Provider located outside your home country, this will involve transferring your personal information — including medical and treatment data — to the country where that Provider operates. Data protection, medical privacy, and record-keeping laws in that country may offer a different (and in some cases lower) level of protection than the laws of your home country, and may not be equivalent to frameworks such as the GDPR or HIPAA. By choosing to contact a specific Provider, you acknowledge and consent to this transfer. (Contacting a Provider in your own country does not, by itself, involve this kind of international transfer.) If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, see Section 14.4 for additional information about the safeguards we use for such transfers where required by law.

HIPAA generally applies only to U.S. health care providers, health plans, and their service providers. Medical and treatment information you share with a Provider located outside the United States is typically not protected by HIPAA; it may instead be governed by that Provider's local laws, if any.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to, and is not intended for use by, anyone under 18 years of age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information without parental consent, please contact us at privacy@getbeauty.ai so we can delete it.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the effective date above and, where appropriate, by additional notice (such as an email or a prominent notice on the Service). Your continued use of the Service after the updated policy takes effect constitutes acceptance of the changes.

13. State Privacy Rights Notice

This section provides additional information for residents of certain U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws (such as California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and Nevada, among others).

13.1 Categories of Personal Information

In the past 12 months, we have collected the categories of personal information described in Section 1, which may fall within the following categories under state law: identifiers; customer records information; commercial information; internet or other electronic network activity information; approximate or precise geolocation data; and, if you choose to include it in a message to a Provider, information that could be considered health or medical information or other sensitive personal information. We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information except where you voluntarily provide it to a Provider through the Service.

13.2 Your Rights

Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to:

• know what personal information we have collected about you and how it has been used and shared;
• delete personal information we have collected from you;
• correct inaccurate personal information;
• obtain a copy of your personal information in a portable format;
• opt out of the sale or “sharing” of your personal information, and of targeted advertising;
• opt out of profiling in furtherance of certain automated decisions; and
• not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights.

To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@getbeauty.ai. We will verify your request before responding, as required by applicable law. You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, subject to verification. If we deny your request, you may have the right to appeal by contacting us at the same email address.

13.3 California “Shine the Light”

California residents may request information once a year about our disclosure of certain categories of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes, by contacting us at privacy@getbeauty.ai.

14. Notice to European Users

This section applies to individuals located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland (“Europe”) and supplements the rest of this Privacy Policy.

14.1 Controller

GetBeauty, Inc. is the controller responsible for your personal information covered by this Privacy Policy. You can contact our EU/UK representative, if applicable, and our data protection contact at privacy@getbeauty.ai.

14.2 Legal Bases for Processing

We process personal information on the following legal bases, as applicable: performance of a contract with you (e.g., operating your account, transmitting inquiries to Providers); our legitimate interests (e.g., improving and securing the Service, preventing fraud), balanced against your rights; compliance with a legal obligation; and your consent (e.g., for certain marketing or non-essential cookies), which you may withdraw at any time.

14.3 Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information; to restrict or object to certain processing (including profiling and direct marketing); and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. 14.4 International Transfers

Where we transfer personal information from Europe to the United States or other countries, we rely on appropriate safeguards required by applicable law, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, where available and appropriate for the recipient country.
